2nd BASIC AND CLINICAL IMMUNOGENOMICS AND 3rd INTERNATIONAL IMMUNOMICS CONGRESS October 8-12, 2006 Budapest, Hungary After the extraordinary success of the 1st Conference of Basic and Clinical Immunogenomics (BCI), which attracted 500 delegates to Budapest, Hungary, in October 2004, and the 2nd International Immunoinformatics Conference (IIC), with 120 delegates that was held in Boston, USA, in March 2005, we have decided to organize the 2nd BCI conference jointly with the 3rd International Immunomics Congress. The systems biology approach to basic and clinical immunology and the study of genome and proteome roles in immune responses define the latest trends in immunology. The systemic approach combines immunology, molecular biology, instrumentation, and bioinformatics. The BCI/IIC 2006 will bring together immunologists, bioinformaticians, researchers, clinicians and engineers to present and discuss the latest developments in genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, and instrumentation, and their application to basic and clinical immunology. This multidisciplinary meeting will ensure an exciting exchange of ideas and will help bridge the gap between previously separated fields. We invite scientists, clinicians, engineers, and bioinformaticians to meet and help shape the future of immunology at the BCI/IIC 2006 in Budapest, October 8-12, 2006. |
