Posters
Posters will be on display for one day only. The poster boards are 1 meter (40 inches) wide and 2 meters (80 inches) tall. Poster presenters will be asked to mount their poster early in the morning (preferably between 7:30 am and 8:30 am). Poster discussion will be between 13:30 and 15:30 each day (July 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th). Poster assignment will be e-mailed to the presenting authors in early April. When mounting their posters in the morning poster presenters are encouraged to leave a sign on their poster board with the hour between 13:30 and 15:30 when they will be available for personal discussion. The distribution of poster summary leaflets, as well as putting up message boards or "mail-boxes" on posters is strongly encouraged. Double adhesives and pins will be available at the poster area.

    • Send your poster to us electronically and we will print it to you!
    The Congress Organizers together with Copy General (www.copygeneral.hu) will make a special possibility to send your poster electronically and will ensure the color printing of your poster at your cost.

    As a registered participant of the Congress you have the possibility to print your poster in Budapest for a very moderate price of 26.4 Euro for an A0 size (1189 mm long X 841 mm wide; 47 inches long X 33 inches wide.) printout. (This prize is for the A0 size posters only. You may send a larger poster but this will impose a surcharge.)
    You can send your poster file by sending an email to the address febsposter@copygeneral.hu and attaching the file of your poster to your email message. (Preferably your file should be smaller than 10 Mbyte, and not a self-unpacking file, since .exe, .com, .vs, .pif files will not be transmitted.) If you do not receive a confirmation by email that your poster has been printed please bring its file on a CD or pen-drive with you to Budapest - just in case the file transmission was not optimal. Please note that sending your poster file to any other email address will delay the printing process.

    You may also bring your poster file personally to the printing saloon while staying in Budapest. The saloon is in the downtown 15 minutes from the venue and they guarantee to print the files within 12 hours. You can pick up your ready poster in Budapest at the Copy General saloon, which is in the middle of the town close to most Congress hotels. Their address is 1085 Budapest, József krt. 10-12., map to the Copy General saloon.

    Suggested specifications for the optimal printing of the posters:
    Size: A0 (841*1189mm, portrait)
    Resolution: optimal 200 DPI (min: 150 DPI, max: 300 DPI)file size should not be larger than 10MB to avoid file transfer problems!
    Color : RGB (or CMYK but this produce larger file size!)
    When you insert a photo or picture to your poster, do not change its original color mode (CMYK or RGB, etc.). Use color management if possible. Best file formats: PDF is the most appreciated, but if generate of PDF is not possible we can handle JPG too. These are device independent files.
