Winner of the 2004 FEBS Journal Prize is

Dr. Christian Klammt
(Centre for Biomolecular Magnetic Resonance, Johann Wolfgang Goethe Universitat Frankfurt).
His paper "High level cell-free expression and specific labeling of integral membrane proteins" (Klammt_paper.pdf) will be presented at the Closing Ceremony as a short plenary lecture.
Winner of the 2005 FEBS Letters Young Scientist Award is

Dr. Elke Deuerling
(Centre for Molecular Biology, Heidelberg, Germany).
Her paper "Low temperature or GroEL/ES overproduction permits growth of Escherichia coli cells lacking trigger factor or DnaK" (Deuerling_paper.pdf) will be presented at the Closing Ceremony as a short plenary lecture.
